Scholarship Awards

The Logan County Republican Women's Club will be meeting Tuesday, May 15, 2012, GOP Hdqts. R'ville. Carrico Square at 5:30 P.M.  The main part of the program will be the awarding of three $250 scholarships to three graduating seniors from LCHS and one $100 scholarship to one graduating senior from LCHS.  There were no applicants from RHS or Home School this year.  Speakers will also be guidance counselors from both RHS and LCHS.  We hope you will come and support these ladies as they receive these scholarships.  Their families will be with them which will give you an opportunity to meet them and congratulate them for encouraging them to apply for these scholarships.  One of the requirements is that when they reach 18, they will register as Republicans.  This is a way for you to tell them you are glad they are making that decision as well.

All associate and regular members are encouraged to come and bring finger foods to help serve our guests.  Ice and drinks will be appreciated too.  The general public is being invited by radio as well so we may have friends of these recipients to come.

Remember that the Executive Committee of the Republican Party will be having a yard sale on June 2, 2012 at the parking lot of Sheldon Baugh Insurance Company.  Anything which you might contribute to that sale will be appreciated.  Have it priced and brought down on Friday night or before to the Headquarters so that we can get it down in time for the sale on Saturday.

Any time you have things suitable for our Silent Auction Baskets we will be using later on will be appreciated.  These can be brought to the Headquarters by calling 726-3801 or 726-3787 anytime.
